Sketch or finish?

For me there’s a fine line between what’s a doodle, and what’s a finished ‘mini-masterpiece’, especially when most of my more worked-on drawings are small scale and improvised.

At the moment I feel that I’m attempting to gather speed and courage for a jump into larger scale work, and for me that might mean an adventure into painting.
